Who surveys and quotes for your doors in Uckfield

Sliding Doors Uckfield is an information site, not a fitting company. It explains what door and window jobs around Uckfield involve and passes your enquiry on.

From your message to a written quote

1. You fill in the enquiry form, email, or ring the number on this page.
2. Your details go to one window and door installer that covers Uckfield and the surrounding parishes. It is registered with FENSA, the competent person scheme for replacement windows and doors.
3. The installer contacts you to book a survey. The surveyor measures the opening, checks the lintel, the floor levels and the frame condition, and talks through the options.
4. You receive a written quote in the installer's own name. If you go ahead, your contract is with that installer and nobody else.

What FENSA registration means for you

When a FENSA-registered installer fits replacement doors or windows, it registers the work and you receive a certificate showing it meets building regulations. You will need that when you sell the house. It does not cover structural work such as a widened opening, which needs separate building control approval.

The prices on this site

The example jobs on the prices page are illustrations of typical work, built from the installer's current list figures. The written quote after survey is the price you pay.
